| Mary was born in Portland,
Oregon. She lived in Oregon for most of her life until
in 2002 circumstances drew her to Las Vegas, Nevada.
She's been writing dark fiction since her early teens.
Mary is a member of Persephone, an Organization for
Women Writers of Dark Literature. She lives in a suburb
of Las Vegas with her husband, the writer CJ Hurtt,
and a large assortment of pets.
